From Terror To Valor, a debut novel by John A. Mulhall was widely released on September 11th, 2024. It is a fictional tale about one man’s journey through the war on terror. It explores the human aspects of those who took part, and how much of themselves they gave to it. This complex plot, like in the real world, sees the action aspect of Jack Debaut’s life sit on top of a much greater and deeper story.
Launching a debut novel is a learning experience for any author. For John, it was a valuable lesson in not rushing to market. Slow is smooth, and in this case, John’s launch came fast on the heels of the novel’s audiobook production. This mid-project inclusion saw critical weeks sawed off the project’s marketing time. It also provided him with learned lessons for his next writing adventure.
